For the unmarried, now is the best time to learn what God's expects in marriage from you. Do not fall to the pressures of this world, because your marriage is for life. Dating is gamble, because if you don't intend to marry a person, they are someone else's husband or wife to be and not yours.

Proverbs 13:18 – “Poverty and shame come to him who ignores discipline, but whoever heeds correction is honored”

Your Marriage Is Your First Ministry

We are willing to teach and encourage the one, all we need is the willing. Our marriage is our first ministry and therefore we must educate and train ourselves to be good stewards and faithful ministers of our responsibilities as spouses.

We can't truthfully expect our relationships to prosper, mature and develop if we are not willing and faithful to learn.

We are not stuck, we can change, we can get better. The question we must ask ourselves is how bad do we want to change?

What's On My Mind

We are constantly changing, and yes there are different seasons in our lives. But when we understand and believe that our God is sovereign over every season of marriage. Satan will no longer stop us from maintaining calm and reason even in our challenging times. We were created to bond with our mate, and God gave us hormones to aid in that function and facilitate our doing so. Once we understand their purpose and how they aid us in proper love and connection, we will be much wiser. This week, read this verse and pray and meditate over it and how it applies to you, your marriage and your mate. Think also about how you respond to challenges and disappointments, your little foxes.

"Take us the foxes, the little foxes, that spoil the vines: for our vines have tender grapes." Song of Solomon 2;15
